New Building Operations & Capabilities

Overview

Combining over 65 years of technical heritage with modern engineering methodologies, Çeksan Shipyard executes high-value-added and specialized vessel construction projects in compliance with international standards. The shipyard manages new building projects up to 25,000 DWT on a turn-key basis, ensuring delivery within the contracted timeframe.

To date, more than 85 projects, including IMO II Chemical Tankers, Live Fish Carriers, Ferries, and Tugs, have been successfully completed and delivered.

Infrastructure and Technology

Located in the Tuzla Shipyards Area, the facility possesses an annual steel processing capacity of 7,500 tons. Production processes are conducted under integrated quality management systems and the supervision of IACS member classification societies (DNV, BV, TL, etc.).

New building operations are supported by the following technical infrastructure:

• Slipway: Construction platform measuring 132 m x 26.3 m.
• Indoor Production Areas: 2,000 m² of enclosed workshop space.
• Cutting & Assembly: Precision manufacturing via CNC plasma cutting units and automated welding systems.

Project Management & Engineering

Each vessel is subjected to advanced CFD analyses for hull resistance optimization and fuel efficiency. Propulsion systems and outfitting processes are engineered to minimize operational costs (OPEX) for the shipowners.
